Garold Vlasov called for maximum workplace safety during the pandemic

Despite the gradual easing of the current restrictions imposed due to coronavirus infection, Moscow and the Moscow region still have the greatest number of detected cases of COVID-19 infection in Russia.

The increase in testing of residents of Moscow and the Moscow region for a new coronavirus infection has revealed an increased number of confirmed cases of COVID-19. But the overall dynamics is still negative: according to Rospotrebnadzor, since June 1, the increase in the incidence in the Moscow region has been halved. However, according to Garold Vlasov, the Managing Director of NC Logistic 3 PL operator, it is too early to relax and it is worth ensuring maximum safety in the workplace.

“Throughout the entire period of the pandemic, NC Logistic warehouse complex worked around the clock, ensuring an uninterrupted supply of medicines to the participants in the supply chain. We strictly followed all the recommendations of the supervisory authorities, and according to the personal initiative of the management personnel, the Company allocated funds to conduct mass testing of employees for IgM and IgM antibodies”, Vlasov said.

According to him, the number of tested employees of the Company has already exceeded 40% and continues to grow rapidly.

“Employees are the most valuable resource of NC Logistic. Therefore, health care and safety in the workplace is one of the important components of the Company’s policy. Thanks to well-coordinated work and timely measures, we have successfully passed the tense period of the peak of the pandemic without violating any obligations to our partners”, Vlasov noted.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, as of June 30, 2020, the total number of confirmed cases of new coronavirus infection in the Moscow region amounts to 57,570, which is 17,847 more than on June 1. The detection of new cases of infection has more than halved and amounts to 301 people on June 30, compared with 728 cases on June 1.
